The beautiful French songstress is the face of Chanel's new Coco Cocoon bags. The black and white pics were photographed by Karl Lagerfeld (who else?), and while we can't stop talking about how stunning Vanessa looks, we're itching to get our hands on what she's holding.
The quilted bags channel the signature chic spirit of Chanel but with a more sporty vibe. They're made from leather and nylon and, from the messenger bag to the bowling bag (Vanessa's favourite apparently) are designed to be practical as well as stylish.
Top of our wishlist are the padded rucksack - very 1990s cool - and the shearling-covered bag, which is sure to fly off the shelves thanks to the fact that the soft and furry fabric is set to replace denim as a fashion essential come autumn. But you don't have to wait until next season to bag them. The pieces are due to start hitting stores on 15 May, with prices starting at £950.
