Along with older sister Gigi, Bella Hadid is one of the standout models of Fashion Month. Walking in key shows including Topshop, Moschino and a stealthy turn in Kanye’s surprise show - so stealthy in fact, we barely even noticed her – it’s easy to forget she’s a relative catwalk newbie, only making her debut at the Tom Ford show in February.

But it turns out modelling isn’t her primary focus, she’s actually a professional equestrian. And is apparently in training for the 2016 Olympics.

Bella has in fact been riding horses professionally since she was a child, an activity that she has in common with her mum, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and former model Yolanda Foster.

Bella, who features in a new equestrian-themed spread in PORTER Magazine, explained: ‘My devotion stemmed from my mom's love of horses.

‘I have been riding since I could walk and the fact that my mom knew everything about horses really helped my passion grow.’

Forget the catwalk next year then, as we could be seeing Bella at the 2016 Rio Olympics…
