We love the eco design philosophy of Ciel, and when Sarah showed us her incredibly cute knickers in Liberty prints, we decided to work with her and create the perfect high summer beachwear with matching knickers, Whistles CEO Jane Shepherdson said in a statement. There is a real 70s feel to the prints we have chosen, so they fit in to this seasons trends perfectly.
Ciel founder Sarah Ratty creates lingerie, dresses and separates that are sound from ecological and employment perspectives. Fans include Cate Blanchett, Livia Firth and the V&Athe museum holds one of Rattys signature knitwear pices, made of recycled Aran jumpers, in its costume collection.
