Andrej Pejic on Lea T, dressing up and that Gaultier gown

Theres room for more than one androgynous male model in the world of women's fashion, Andrej Pejic said in a new interview.

Pejic, whose cutglass cheekbones and lithe figure won him enviable bookings at the recent womenswear and couture shows, addressed frequent comparisons to transgender model Lea T in an interview on Stylecaster.

He said he doesnt see much overlap between his and the Givenchy muses careers, despite their concurrent rises to prominence. [S]he only does womens wear and I think I cover more fields.'

Some people in the industry will use us in a very similar way to represent similar ideas and some will want me to be a bit different from hermore androgynous, more boyish or even sex-less rather than womanly. I think professionally I am capable of being very versatile.

He also called closing Jean Paul Gaultiers couture show a dream, and said that hes loved to dress up since his childhoodmostly as a female gypsy dancer.
