Vivienne Westwood and Stephen Jones have conjured up a My Fair Lady-ready vision of the races to the 300th anniversary of Ascot's Racecourse.

The Beaton-esque photograph by Simon Procter sets three Westwood gowns against an image of Ascot from 1818.

And since Ascot wouldn’t be Ascot without the hats, milliner Jones created three suitably over-the-top confections. We’re rather taken with the black-and-white number on the left... as long as we don’t have to sit behind it at a fashion show.
