All the big names in American fashion are set to be celebrated, but there are a couple of Brits who have made the cut too. Celine's Phoebe Philo is going to take home the award for International Design. And the Daily Telegraph's Hilary Alexander will receive the much-deserved Eugenia Shepphard award for media, given to 'a writer, photographer, or editor who has used his or her craft to further the profession of fashion reporting and coverage.'
So which designers will be fighting it out on 6 June? Marc Jacobs, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez of Proenza Schouler and Alexander Wang will be battling for the coveted Womenswear Designer of the Year award, and they've all been nominated in other categories too - the Proenza Schouler boys and Alexander Wang have been chosen alongside Reed Krakoff for the Accessory Designer of the Year category.
