Kate Moss arrived at Downing Street arm in arm with Mario Testino, dressed demurely in a black cocktail dress and evening jacket. During the reception, held by Samantha Cameron in the second of her London Fashion Week events at Number 10, Moss mixed with the new BFC ambassador as well as Yasmin Le Bon, designer Anya Hindmarch, and Helena Bonham Carter. The Prime Minister was not present, but Moss's presence at the event does indicate the misadventures of her past have been forgiven and forgotten by the fashion establishment.
Following the reception, in which Cameron paid tribute to fashion as "one of our most important industries, full stop", the supermodel's evening took a slightly different turn. Kate Moss was driven to The Box, a Soho nightclub, where she joined the father of her daughter, Jefferson Hack, and current fiancé Jamie Hince, to party with a host of fashion revellers from Henry Holland to the Delevigne sisters. The event, held to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Hack's publication Another Magazine, continued into the small hours, with Mark Ronson DJing. Moss managed an outfit change en route, exchanging her classic Downing Street evening wear for a flamboyant Margiela sheer iridescent dress worn over a strapless bodystocking, teamed with tights and floor length fur boa. Demonstrating her unmatched fashion versatility and spontaneity, by the end of the night, she had shed the Margiela.More
