Parisian protesters do not wear ill-fitting jeans, ugly trainers and hoodies. In the designer duos vision, they wear beautiful scarves draped around the neckline to give a flattering shape to arms, flag-inspired bands on dresses and wrap skirts, patchwork fabrics and trains trailing from wide palazzo pants. Patch pockets and layers lent a prairie feel to these revolutionaries. There was also that brilliant Nicole/Papa use of the mans shirt, re-worked into dresses.
