For autumn winter 2011, Nicoll
chose 20s long and lean shapes and mixed it with a sports luxe feel that was timeless and nothing you would want to go near physical exertion wearing. Silk drawstring kagools with stiff hoods were teamed with parachute silk slim trousers with elasticated cuffs. Flowing trains backed short fluid dresses and even trouser suit one-pieces. Metallic navy was used on square-shaped tees with sheer sleeves in another sign that for next season, each item of your wardrobe should contain two or more fabrics contrasting shiny and matt, sheer and opaque.
As always Nicoll closed with some beautiful gowns that appeal to a wide style demographic. And that's why he's such a seasoned hit.
