Cruella de Vil inspires at Topshop Unique

As for the collection itself, it was, it seems, inspired by 101 Dalmations and its star villain, Cruella de Vil. As a result there was fur aplenty (faux of course) from the spotted coats to the stoles, complete with stuffed-toy dogs head, that will surely be sported by the more adventurous front rowers come September. and there were doggy prints covering everything from pussy-bow blouses to shift dresses.

Away from the doggy theme there was a glamorous 1930s vibe, albeit with a Topshop-esque modern twist. Long dresses with art deco prints, printed wide-leg trousers, shrunken jackets, tea dresses and pencil skirts. And, sure to be hitting stores just in time for your Christmas party, a clutch of stand out dresses, from devore minis to daringly cut-out maxis.

And, of course, there was the hair, piled up into to buns to resemble ears. We expect to see copycats (copydogs?) before the day is done.
