Christian Lacroix's new project

When Christian Lacroix was forced to close his label back in 2009 it marked the end of an era. The designer has been sorely missed on the fashion scene, but this morning we have good news - he has a brand new project.

Working under the name Monsieur Lacroix - he's not allowed to use Christian Lacroix as his old label still exists, albeit without its eponymous former head - he's teamed up with Spanish high street brand Desigual to design a 30-piece capsule collection.The range will hit stores next season, and a more comprehensive offering will be offered up next spring. As is to be expected from the former couturier, the pieces are heavy on colour and pattern, from the cosy knits to the cool mini skirts.
