Michelle Obama's sartorial choices are always closely watched, and, while she's always careful to champion American labels, we can't help but notice that she has quite a penchant for Brit designers. At last night's state dinner for Chinese president Hu Jintao she sported a stunning one-shoulder dress from Alexander McQueen - and looked amazing. And earlier in the day she stepped out in a navy embellished dress and wool coat by Roksanda Ilincic.
It's not the first time that she's picked pieces from the best of British either. Along with the rest of us she's a big Erdem fan, and she's also been spotted in pieces by Basso and Brooke, Duro Olowu, Peter Pilotto and Lara Bohinc.More
