You've made it. The first post-christmas week back at week is nearly over, and we think you deserve a treat to celebrate. So, kick back for seven minutes and watch Scott Schuman stylishly waft around New York taking photographs.
The short film, made by Intel, follows The Sartorialist as he gets his hair cut (in one of the coolest barbers we've ever seen, naturally), hangs about in coffee shops and takes photographs of well dressed men and women. And builders.
We also get to hear the man himself talk about his cult street style blog. We learn that he got into fashion to get girls, that he didn't grow up wanting to be a photographer and that he plans to keep snapping for the next 30 or 40 years.
He says that there are only ever two or three people each day that catch his eye and that, 'You never know what it is, what that thing is that draws you to that person but you just let it happen. It seems odd but its almost like going out there and letting yourself fall in love a little bit every day, letting yourself be seduced a little bit every day.'
Schuman also talks about the fact that he is essentially capturing a slice of fashion history, saying '...on the blog I can take a photograph, get it up on the internet and share it with people across the world. People of this moment can comment on how they feel that looks, how this fits in, if it's of this moment. I think it will look very very interesting in 100 years time.'
