You will know by now that we are endlessly interested by which faces our favourite brands choose to front their ad campaigns. With the spring collections fresh off the catwalk there are plenty of rumours flying to keep us satisfied, but this morning's loudest whispers are about who won't be appearing rather than who will.
According to The Mirror Christopher Bailey had his heart set on roping Twilight star Robert Pattinson into starring in next season's Burberry ads, following in the footsteps of Emma Watson, Rosie Huntington Whiteley and Agyness Deyn. The actor was not convinced however, and despite reportedly being offered £1 million, has turned the offer down, preferring to concentrate on his day job rather than branching out into the world of high fashion.
Burberry hasn't commented on the story yet but we can see how Pattinson's brooding looks would work alongside the leather and khaki heavy collection that he would have to sport. Place your bets now on who will front the spring campaigns instead.More
