Linda Evangelista once famously stated that she wouldn't get out of bed for less than $10,000. So it should come as no surprise that, when it comes to walking the runway, the most super of models can command much more than that.
Roberto Cavalli's eponymous label turns 40 this year, and to mark the occasion the Italian designer is pulling out all the stops. Rumours have reached us that he paid model Natalia Vodianova somewhere between 50,000 and 70,000 euros to secure her appearance on the catwalk on Monday - a small price to pay for the Russian beauty some may say.
Natalia's fee doesn't just cover her catwalk stint though. It also guarantees her appearance at what is shaping to be a spectacular birthday party for Cavalli in Paris tonight. According to WWD, the star studded guest list includes Miranda Kerr and new husband Orlando Bloom, Naomi Campbell, Lara Stone, Rachel Bilson and Daphne Guinness amongst other, and the pop princess herself, Kylie Minogue, is set to perform.
Check back tomorrow for all the party pics and gossip.
