Marios Schwab’s bad girls

To the sound of a motorbike engine revving, the first girl appeared in a Joan Jett layered wig. So awful were these wigs that they almost risked overshadowing the clothes. For the rest of the show, eyes were firmly trained from the neck down.

There we saw a romantic side to Schwab that is a world away from his body-con days and his latest collection for Halston. Fluid silk and crepe de chine negligee dresses were the mainstay, toughened with high waist biker skirts and trousers, tan leather harnesses and chunky boots.

The two Schwab labels show his multi-faceted talent for design, but given the feeling after the show, I think most would plump for Halston.
