Lily helps Westfield launch their fashion car boot sale
But today Westfield dispelled all notions of shoddy wares, broken remote controls and mis-matched crockery, with their glamorous car boot launch.
Lily Allen kicked off proceedings ensconced in cream fur and Chanel pumps, Mary Portas hosted her own Living and Giving car (with rumours of Chanel tucked in her stock) and the high street's finest, from Reiss to Topshop and Whistles, were also selling from the back of a customised Hyundai. To add to the fun, a Swarovski lucky dip upped the stakes, while Bobbi Brown artists touched up any make up smudged in the foray.
The five day fashion fair is designed to celebrate London Fashion Week, and give shoppers a share in the excitement, with exclusives, special editions and giveaways from some of our favourite brands. The car boot sale will be on in Westfield's Atrium until this Sunday, the 26th- but you'll need to get there quickly for a chance to get your hands on Mary's Chanel.
