Not for Christopher Kane. For the wonderboy of the London scene, fresh and modern is neon, used on 50s staples like twin sets, pleat skirts and argyle tanks. A Princess Margaret figure in fluro is just the ticket for next year. Laser-cut leather was made to look like lace, bright green and fuchsia piping tracked down below-the-knee dresses and Jackie O shaped jackets were given an acid overhaul.

A bird of pray/Chinese tattoo style print was used on traditional sober dress shapes in a vision of true modernity.
