For his latest collection Kinder Aggugini drew inspiration from Africa, and, more specifically, a travel book called Travels in the Interior Districts of Africa. The book tells the story of explorer Mungo Park who set out to discover the continent and ultimately fell in love with it and disappeared into it.
So, the first looks of the collection followed a safari theme, all linen jackets with raw edges, tailored linen trousers and shirt dresses with patch pockets. The looks became more tribal as the show went on, with silk draped dresses in vibrant prints, black pieces with hits of animal print here and there and floating tie-dye maxi dresses.
Accessories followed the African theme too - there were leather hooped earrings, graphic belts and leather neck pieces, and even hats that appeared to be fashioned out of newspaper and cardboard made by Stephen Jones.
