Sophia Kokosalaki took on the California Arts & Craft movement for her second collection for Diesel Black Gold. What does that entail? Well, nothing like that of the William Morris and John Ruskin era that preceded it in Britain. Kokosalakis artisan wears leather and suede cut from the same cloth as the cowboys from the Wild West.
Workman-style leather coats and high-waisted flared jeans sat alongside lace-up trousers and skirts cut to look like shirt hems. The most successful looks had an Amazonian bent; a flowing printed floor length dress with leather vest top and white one-shouldered dress will keep the Diesel customers coming back for more.
