Back in May ELLE teamed up with the British Fashion Council on a brand new initiative, the Talent Launch Pad. The idea? To choose six labels from London's crop of new names to receive support from both ELLE and retailers across the country.
This morning we can reveal which labels have made the cut: Eudon Choi, Irwin and Jordan, Holly Fulton, David Longshaw, Clemencey London, and Yunus & Eliza. Chosen by a crack panel of judges that included ELLE editor-in-chief Lorraine Candy, model Helena Christensen and CEO of the BFC, Caroline Rush, the first ever Talent Launch Pad winners will get editorial support from ELLE and access to its stylists, photographers and creative directors. And that's not all.
We've teamed up with six stores across the country: Anna (Burnham Market), Bernard of Esher (Surrey), Courtyard (Guildford), Cricket (Liverpool), Hervia Bazaar (Manchester) and Stanwells (Lymington). Each one has committed to stocking one of the winning labels for at least two seasons and to host in store events to raise the profile of the designers.
