When news broke earlier this week that Lara Stone had posed for French Playboy it caused quite a stir amongst the fashion crowd. Apparently it caused even more furore in the Walliams household because it turns out that she didn't pose for the title at all. The pics published by the magazine were taken by photographer Greg Lotus last year, and while details of exactly how they ended up on the pages of the legendary magazine are unclear, one thing's for sure - no-one asked Lara. The result? The model is suing Playboy.
Stone has issued a statement saying, 'Playboy had no right to publish these unauthorised photographs. It's not the kind of publication I would ever choose to appear in. I feel I have no option but to take steps to protect my reputation.'
Lara's no stranger to posing naked - she's appeared in an array of fashion mags clothes-free - so we presume that it's the Playboy association that she objects to. And the fact that the pics in question were used without her permission, of course. As yet the magazine hasn't responded - watch this space for more details.More
