American surf and skate brand RVCA seems to have ended its collaboration with Erin Wasson, the supermodel turned stylist who designed several collections for them. The label - who also own Quiksilver - has been bought out by Billabong and the rumour mill is whirring that the contract with Wasson has been terminated.
There's no comment from either Billabong or RVCA at this stage and it's unclear whether Erin + RVCA will show a final collection at New York fashion week in September or sink without a trace.
Despite Erin's name securing RVCA a spot on the much-coveted fashion week schedule and attracting an A-list crowd to each event, reviews and sales were disappointing. However, Wasson fans need not worry for long. The model has been heavily promoting her jewellery line Low Luv stateside and it is available on www.my-wardrobe.com over here.More
