Hot on the heels of Sarah Burton's appointment as creative director of Alexander McQueen, the new head of design at its sister label, McQ, has been revealed - and her name is Pina Ferlisi.
The name may not be familiar to you but there's no doubting that you've coveted some of the pieces that she's been responsible for over her career so far. She worked with Marc Jacobs at Perry Ellis, including on the designer's now legendary Grunge collection. She's worked Tommy Hilfiger, rejoined Jacobs with a stint at Marc By Marc, helped to re-vamp Gap and, until her latest appointment, has been working as vice-president of design at Coach.
Now Ferlisi is set to take up the reins of creative director at McQ under the watchful eye of Sarah Burton. We can't wait to see what she offers up.More
