Ever since Giles Deacon made the move to Paris two season's ago we've missed his prescence on the London Fashion Week schedule. But this morning we hear an exciting rumour - that he could be bringing his eponymous label back to the capital.
Deacon is set to be very busy over the coming months. He's just been signed up as the creative director of Emanuel Ungaro, and he will show his debut collection for the label in Paris in September. And yesterday Hilary Alexander of The Telegraph tweeted, 'Giles Deacon may return to show his own collection at London fashion week in September as he shows his 1st collection for Ungaro in Paris.'
The designer made his move to Paris when he was awarded the much-coveted ANDAM award which gives winners the funds to expand their business in France. But now that he's been there for two seasons and, more importantly, bagged a job at a major French fashion house, perhaps he's decided that he can afford to bring his label back home. We're keeping our fingers croseed.More
