This weekend the Queen's birthday honours list was unveiled and two of British fashion's famous faces have received honours. Harold Tillman, CEO of Jaeger and Aquascutum and head of the British Fashion Council, will receive a CBE. And Tamara Mellon, founder of luxe footwear label Jimmy Choo, has been given a an OBE.
Tamara said, 'I am so thrilled to be receiving this great honour and to be recognised in this way. I am grateful to everyone at Jimmy Choo - and our customers around the globe - for helping make our success possible.'
The pair join a long and illustrious list of fashion industry stalwarts who have received hounours from the Queen. Vivienne Westwood, Christopher Bailey, Lulu Guinness and Stephen Jones to name but a few have all made their way to Buckingham Palace over the past few years.More
