Designers seem to be playing a game of musical chairs with the big fashion houses right now, and today we hear rumours of yet another possible new appointment. Apparently Gareth Pugh has been having meetings with Thierry Mugler and speculation is mounting that he may be joining the label.
According to WWD Thierry Mugler has decided to embrace a change of direction, and while Pugh isn't the only designer to have been approached it seems that he is the most likely choice. But the current artistic director of the label, Rosemary Rodriguez, who has recently revived its womenswear collection, is still firmly in place. So what post would he be filling?
The label has had a ressurgence of late thanks to Rodriguez's hard work, not to mention Beyonce signing up Mugler to design her stage wardrobe for her UK tour last year. Watch this space to see what happens next...More
