If he was in any doubt before, he certainly won't be now: Brian Atwood has arrived. The CFDA-hosted dinner celebrating his work at the LA outpost of Soho House attracted a stellar line up of adoring fans; from Rachel "I own every shoe Brian has ever made" Zoe, to Victoria Beckham. The latter worked with Atwood on the shoes for her most recent collection, and the two are rumoured to be joining forces again for a new sartorial project.
Since starting out as footwear designer for Versace, Atwood has quickly joined the ranks of Jimmy Choo and Manolo Blahnik as cobbler to the stars, who are drawn to his statement-making towering heels. At the dinner, the designer hinted at new design avenues, but declined to talk specifics. A host of immaculately attired toes will be tapping in anticipation.
