For half a century now Dr Martens' lace-up boots have found their way into the most stylish of wardrobes. They've been associated with fashion movements from punk to grunge, been released in every colour and pattern imaginable, and their popularity shows no sign of waning. And we suspect that tomorrow the flagship DM store may be attracting quite a few customers.
In honour of the brand's 50th birthday its 1460, eight-hole boots - the first boots ever to be sold back on 1st April 1960 - wil be available to buy for just £14.60. Just head to the Dr Marten flagship store on London's Neal Street and you'll be able to choose from five colours.
