Marc creates a serene buzz

To a soundtrack of "Over the Rainbow", which he chose because the song has "a promise of something deeper than all this. And that's what quality, luxury and happiness is all about", Jacobs cast models alongside "real" women (and by that we mean real-life beauties who don't model for a living...).

The man who last season brought us 80s fluro shoulder-padded jackets and underwear as outerwear, has stepped off the challenging train and on to a gentler ride through a covetable and wearable wardrobe. "I had this feeling" said Jacobs, "that I wanted to see something that wasn't trying so hard to be new".

The serene buzz surrounding the show from attending editors and buyers suggest that this was the exactly right mood to be channeling.
