Just days after announcing a BlackBerry application that will revolutionise the way we shop from the catwalk, he's democratising fashion even further by launching a blog teasing us with clues about the collection.
House of Holland's BlackBerry app will allow the public to buy pieces from his autumn winter catwalk show as the collection is walking down the runway. That's a whole six months before it would normally hit the shops. The move finally makes fashion week an accessible and relevant event to people outside the hallowed show guestlist of editors and buyers.
Today Holland also launched a blog to cleverly build momentum surrounding his show this Saturday. Using celeb best mates Agyness and Alexa to model t-shirts plastered with abbreviations, it reminds us of the early House of Holland days when Henry first made a name for himself designing slogan tees such as "Uhu Gareth Pugh", modelled by up-and-coming model Aggy. My how they quickly became household names...
The blog, at http://c-t-f-o.blogspot.com/, is currently showing Alexa wearing a "F.F.S" t-shirt, Agyness in a "C.T.F.O" number and Pixie Geldof in "N.A.L.G.O". But what can it mean?
When pushed for an explanation, Henry wouldn't be drawn, "Is it a preview for the new collection? Is it the t-shirts that will be available to buy on your blackberry on the day of the show? Who knows. One thing is for sure. It's GENIUS!!!!." Certainly its marketing is. He did let us in what the abbreviations stand for though. Can you work them out...?More
