Now that the menswear and couture weeks are done and dusted, the fashion world's attention is fully focused on the impending ready-to-wear shows. And while the seating plans are being arranged and the invites sent out, the hunt is on for the new names set to emerge as stars.

London in particular is famed for its encouragement of new talent, with a whole host of initiatives to help them on their way to success. And now we know which designers we should be keeping our eye on.

This morning Fashion East has announced its line-up for the season. The show, which champions new designers, has already propelled the likes of Marios Schwab, Louise Goldin and Jonathan Saunders to stardom, and it even attracted Victoria Beckham to it's front row last season. This time around Michael van der Ham and Heikki Salonen will be taking to the catwalk for the second time, while milliner Nazir Mazhar will make his debut. He's the man responsible for Lady Gaga's extravagant orb head dress - here's hoping she'll be turning up to show her support.

And Vauxhall Fashion Scout has revealed the four designers that it predicts big things for. Making its Ones To Watch list for autumn are Danish duo Aksh, former Twenty8Twelve designer Eudon Choi, Royal College of Art gradua
