Louise Goldin wins Fashion Forward
Awarded by the British Fashion Council and chosen by a crack panel of judges (including ELLE's editor in chief, Lorraine Candy), the Fashion Forward scheme was set up to help London designers who have already made their mark on the fashion radar but need support developing their business.
Louise beat off stiff competition to win the award - other nominees included Basso & Brooke, Emilio de la Morena, Jean-Pierre Braganza, Osman and Todd Lynn. And the judges were clearly wowed by her work. Last year the award was shared between three winners; Marios Schwab, Christopher Kane and Erdem.
Louise Goldin is fast becoming one of the hottest tickets at London Fashion Week. This season's 1990's inspired collection of flirty mini-dresses and sheer cropped tops is high on the fashion crowd's wish list, and her latest collection of shoes for high street giant Topshop is due to hit stores in early February.
