We hear that the supermodel spotted a fellow guest at a wedding in London wearing a bracelet that she just had to have. So, of course, she got Topshop boss Philip Green to buy it for her right there and then. The guest? Socialite and aspiring jewellery designer Ann Dexter Jones - otherwise known as the mother of Mark, Sam and Charlotte Ronson - who had created the cuff herself.
We're pleased to report that Kate didn't leave her empty handed - she swapped the bracelet for the one that she herself was sporting, a Chanel piece.
Given that she uses her own wardrobe as inspiration for her Topshop line, we wonder if we'll see a high-street version of her new buy hitting stores soon.
