Angelina Jolie to star in Gucci movie?

Director Ridley Scott is putting together a film about the famed Gucci family, and Angelina is apparently in talks to play Patrizzia Regianni who was convicted in 1999 of arranging the killing her ex-husband, Maurizio Gucci. Maurizio, who may be played by Leonardo di Caprio, was the son of Gucci founder Rodolfo Gucci, and was himself the head of the fashion house until 1993.

The film, due to start filming next year, will supposedly cover the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, so we're expecting serious amounts of glamour and style, and while there's no word on who will design the costumes as yet, we're hoping that Frida Giannini will have a hand in dressing the cast.
