Alexander McQueen was due to stream his spring/ summer 2010 show live from Paris yesterday. However, when Lady Gaga tweeted that the show would also premier her new single, Bad Romance, thousands of her fans logged on to Showstudio.com who were streaming the show - and crashed the site.
The result? The McQueen live stream broke, and no one got to hear the Gaga preview either.
McQueen had better luck with his technical skills on the catwalk though as his vision for spring/summer 2010 entitled Plato's Atlantis truly wowed.
Showstudio.com's Nick Knight had also created a sci-fi film that provided the backdrop to the show, of Raquel Zimmerman morphing from human to sea creature, mirroring the sea creature prints on his sharp cut, tailored mini dresses.
