Christopher Kane is one of London's hottest designers. Not only a star of London Fashion Week with his eponymous label, this year he was recruited by Donatella Versace to design the accessories for the recently relaunched Versus label (created by Gianni Versace) and on 18th September his latest collection, Christopher Kane for Topshop hits stores and Topshop online.
But you don't have to wait until then to see the designs, this month ELLE has an exclusive first look at the collection, plus an interview with the designer himself.
What can we expect from the man who admits his clothes can be characterised as bad taste made good? 'It's bad in a good way' is how he explains to ELLE's Editor in Chief Lorraine Candy his penchant for lace, neon nylon, bleached denim and leopard print.
'There's a sexy, soft black denim jacket with a tough rivet detail you're going to love; a cute wear-it-every-day blue dress that will see you through winter [and an] irresistible vintage-before-its-on-the-rail crocodile T-shirt (only £55) that I predict will sell out in seconds', reveals Lorraine Candy.
We can't wait!
