Karl Lagerfeld likes to keep busy. Whether designing his bi-annual collections for Chanel and Fendi; photographing campaigns at one of his many homes around the world (he just shot Lily Allen in London and the new Chanel campaign at his farm in Vermont, complete with llamas and chickens) or designing his own eponymous collection - Karl Lagerfeld.
And now it seems he's trying his hand at film. He'll voice a character in a new film version of a French children's cartoon called Totally Spies. He plays the villain Fabu (natch) and will actually voice his character in both the English and German versions of the film which opens throughout Europe this autumn.
So why did the film's producers chose Karl? Well, Fabu, is a villain with a sweep of white hair who always wears a ruffled white shirt. '[He] definitely has some resemblance to the idea that people have of me' admits Lagerfeld in a recent interview in Le Parisien.
