Clements Ribeiro return to London Fashion week

The duo, who showed their last collection in London for spring/summer 06 will hold a presentation at Somerset House - the new home of London Fashion Week.

Husband and wife team Suzanne Clements and Inacio Ribeiro have not produced a Clements Riberio collection for almost five years, having worked as Creative Directors at Cacharel in Paris and collaborating on smaller design projects such as a capsule cashmere collection last year.

The label went into voluntary liquidation in 2006, but through self-financing including Suzanne and Inacio selling their homes in Paris and London they will return with a cruise collection due in stores this summer, a footwear collection and a complete womenswear collection for spring/summer 10.

But the couple are taking things slowly, with a presentation and not a catwalk show. 'We want to connect with and reach out to customers in ways that big brands can’t', said Suzanne Clements yesterday.
