In November a new collection of childrens wear and baby clothes designed by Stella McCartney will hit Gap stores around the world.
Stella joins a host of designers who have previously collaborated with Gap including Rodarte, Pierre Hardy and Alexander Wang - whose Khaki collection hits stores on June 16th.
'Were thrilled to have the opportunity to build on successful past collaborations with a world class design talent like Stella', said Mark Hansen, President of gap today.
While Stella hasn't yet revealed just what the collection will look like, she has shared her reasons for designing for Gap. 'For years now Ive wanted to create a collection for kids... I believe that this one off collaboration will be a great way for customers to be able to participate in the Stella McCartney brand.'More
