To celebrate its premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival, Prada has created a special window display for Wes Andersons new film, The Grand Budapest Hotel.
From today until 16 February, two windows in the Prada Berlin store will showcase an exclusive set of custom-made suitcases and trunks that Prada taking inspiration from the brand's own vintage models from the 1920s and 30s designed for two of the films leading characters, played by Ralph Fiennes and Tilda Swinton.
This is Prada were talking about so of course shoppers can expect exquisite attention to detail - wooden frames wrapped in soft vacchetta leather to create a vintage effect and peach pink sateen cotton lining.
The suitcases were given additional custom touches by artist Mieke Casal, who painted the initials of the characters on the leather in authentic 1920s style.
This is the second time Miuccia Prada and Wes Anderson have collaborated - at last years Rome Film Festival, they created short film Castello Cavalcanti - bringing together two of our favourite creative minds in an exciting collision of fashion and film.
