Mugler has been working hard to 'achieve her dreams', he tells WWD today, to create what he describes as ' very elaborate costumes.' He has taken the two sides of Beyonce's personality, her off stage self and her on stage incarnation, Sasha Fierce.
Mugler says he imagines Beyoncé as, 'a tough, chic, super heroine who likes her power glam with a bit of froth.' Cue metal, lace, bows, fishnets and bustles all rolled in to one look - Sasha Fierce the warrior popstar.
Skin tight leggings and fish net tights teamed with cheek grazing, power-shouldered waist coats will prowl the stage along with sexy, armour like leotards and metal gloves.
And Mugler was well placed to design these clothes, he's also the show's creative director so has worked on the set, lighting and running order of the entire production with three words as his mantra, Feminine, Free and Warrior.
We're looking forward to the spectaculer results.
