First up Barbie's 50th Anniversary extravaganza continues as the model doll gets her own section at Dover Street Market. Opening on the 8th of April the section will be curated by London designer Henry Holland and will feature specially designed pieces by the cream of London's design talent including Gareth Pugh, who has designed 50 limited edition Ken dolls for the shop; Roksanda Ilinicic and Danielle Scutt.
You'll also find Barbie inspired art on display, vintage Barbie dolls for sale and Hotel Chocolat's special collection of Barbie at 50 chocolates.
Of his job as curator Henry Holland has revealed, 'visiting Barbie in her home territory (El Segundo, California) really helped me get to know her! She's such an icon and I loved choosing all the stock for Barbie at DSM. Its also quite scary how much of it I want for myself.'
