Angela Missoni reveals the sexy Missoni scandal of the 1960s

She hosted a star studded party, for guests including Jade Parfit, Jasmin Guinness, Jaquetta Wheeler, her daughter Margherita Missoni, and even the boss of the England football team, Fabio Capello.

Ahead of last night's party we met up with Angela for a tour of the new shop on London's Sloane Street and to discuss the history of the family business that she took over from her mother and father and turned in to a global brand.

'It was important to take over the family business as I knew it could be so much more, it could still be so much more', revealed Angela yesterday. She also told us that it's her family that still inspire her today. 'For next season, I decided to mix things up and take a fresh direction. I wanted Missoni to be for everyone, for my mother and her friends, for me and my friends, and for my daughters'. Her daughters Margherita (pictured here with Angela last night) and Theresa are now her muses.
