Hot on the heels of Christopher Kane's recent collaboration with Donatella Versace, rumour has it that British designer Marios Schwab could be lined up as the new designer for Halston. The label, of which Jimmy Choo president Tamara Mellon is a director, is looking for a new chief designer after losing Marco Zanini last year. (He's now at Rochas).
Halston and Marios are yet to confirm the news, if it's true it's another high five to London's design talent.
Jill Sander, who exited her eponymous label in 2004 might be set to make a return to design. Spotted at Parisian fabric fair Première Vision last month (where designers head to select fabrics for their new collections) industry insiders say she could be on her way back to fashion.
And finally Milla Jovovich (pictured) has revealed that she wants to design a childrenswear collection - inspired no doubt by her baby daughter. The actress' label Jovovich-Hawk closed last year but Milla says she is really keen to get back to design, if the right project comes along.
