Walking the length of the catwalk at a snails pace, girls wore mid calf length hobble skirts, all-in-one culotte suits and long slim overcoats, all in a predominantly shades-of grey- palette that included chalk, putty and stone.
The sculpture theme continued and featured as details like ruffled lapels and collars that were then flattened and stitched down. Elsewhere, in contrast, stiff three dimensional constructed panels stood out on the sleeves and hems of garments.
The models painted bleached porcelain faces pushed the theme to its limit, but towards the end the boys showed their softer side with panelled dresses patch worked together from chiffon and lace crochet pieces with metallic threads.
