Poking fun at excessive consumerism (careful boys these are you are customers), designer brothers Dean and Dan Catan sent their models down the runway clutching Starbucks take-away coffees, trashy celeb mags and mobile phones, establishing there is no credit crunch in the D Squared girl's world. From the cropped combat trousers to the plaid flying jackets with leather sleeves and fur bombers with denim hems - these were covetable winter clothes to layer up next season - all with D Squared's signature quirky touches.
In the event of a financial emergency the D Squared girl won't stop buying new jeans, but she may have to cut back on her Starbucks cappuccinos to do it.
