Last night's show confirmed the brand's fashion credentials with a slick, new, edgier direction for 2009. Slim-leg, wool trousers with zips, oversize mohair dresses, moulded shoulders on jackets and cocoon-like winter coats will all provide wardrobe solutions for the modern woman for autumn, as designer Karen Boyd played on the label's 125 year heritage and brought it bang up to date for 2009.
Favourites included a black strong shouldered cocktail dress that would not have looked out of place on the catwalk in Paris, as well as the furry riding hats that accessorised most looks - here's hoping they go instore too.
