Hot on the heels of Karl Lagerfeld, who at the end of last year coined his own House of Chanel money, Italian designer Roberto Cavalli has teamed up with Mastercard to design his own credit card. Subscribers will not only have the chicest bit of plastic in their wallets but will be sent sale alerts and invites to fashion shows.

Sadly using the card will not earn you points to spend at Cavalli though!

Another flexible friend getting a glam make-over is the Hunter welly. Hunter has teamed up with Jimmy Choo to create the ultimate in luxe Wellington boots.

The Jimmy Choo Hunter (pictured) is an embossed croc print version of the iconic green welly, complete with leopard print lining and gold buckles

'The boot has a unique DNA of luxurious practicality' said Hunter chairman Peter Mullen of the design which hits stores in June.
