It stars Lily Donaldson, who's first ever catwalk show was for Burberry five years ago. Legendary fashion photographer Mario Testino captured the images, while Burberry Creative Director, Christopher Bailey, directed the shoot.
In sharp contrast to this season's edgy black and white ads, for spring Bailey channeled the new mood we saw him usher in on his Milan catwalk in September - romantic and ethereal, almost otherworldy, simple beauty. With classic Burberry trenches dip-dyed in muted tones, dresses that appeared to be covered in petals, and an entire show that felt like a day spent in an English country garden.
Cue the quintessentially English country garden scene for this campaign, wellies, rain coats and a huge glass conservatory in rainy Richmond upon Thames.
